|Captive Portal & RADIUS Authentication [main menu]|
|Captive Portal||This controls the startup of the captive portal system.|
|Display IP info in Splash||This will show the IP & MAC address of the current node on the default splash page. It is useful during setup or debugging but is normally left off.|
|Wired Captive Portal||
This is used if you want the wired interface clients of a wireless mesh node to receive a splash page prompt if they are unatuhenticated on the network. If left off, the device will assume that all traffic on the wired interface is authenticated.
This will be set to no automatically if the device is operating as a gateway that way the system doesn't block return Internet traffic.
Both - will allow both registered and guest users access to the system.
Auth Only - will allow only registered RADIUS users access to the system.
Open - will allow everyone guest access to the system.
No Access - will not allow any user to access the Internet.
|Splash Screen Template||
Default - uses the builtin Qorvus template for the splash page.
Download - allows the user to specify the location of a premade template that will downlaoded from the Internet.
|Splash Screen Download URL||Specify the URL to download the splash page template from if you choose not to use the default system.|
|Captive Portal Host Name||This will be the name of the node on the default splash page|
WIANA based - uses the newest splash page system to setup the proper authentication the network.
The rest of the options are deprecated and are left in to mainatin compatibility with the WIANA system.
|Login Timeout (hours)||The amount of time each login authentication is good for.|
|Ticket Timeout (hours)||The amount of time each ticket authentication is good for.|
|Walled Garden Access||
Specify the URL or IP address(es) of site that you want users to be able to access without the need to authenticate.
This is useful for online registration processes or advertising on your splash page.
|Preview Splash Page||If you are on a VPN connection or wirelessly connected to the mesh you can preview what the splash page will look like using this link.|
|Splash Screen Logo||If you are using the default splash page you can select an image to display in the middle of the page. You must first uplaod you .gif or .jpg image file in binary mode using an SCP program to the node. The file is stored in /htdocs/images folder.|
|Authenticated Login Redirect||This will allow you to specify a URL that registered users are redirected to automatically after authentication on the network when using the default splash page.|
|Guest Login Redirect||This will allow you to specify a URL that guest users are redirected to automatically after authentication on the network when using the default splash page.|
|Splash Page Customization||If you want to put in a special message underneath the login boxes of the default splash page this where you can adjust the message.|
|Use WIANA RADIUS Server||If you are using a personal RADIUS server for authentication set this to No.|
|External RADIUS Server IP||If you are using a personal RADIUS server for authentication set this to the IP address of your server. More information about setting up your own RADIUS server can be found on the Qorvus Online Bulletin Board system.|
|WIANA Local RADIUS Insert||Specify the RADIUS ID that was assigned to you in the WIANA system if you are using it for authentication. You can find it under manage nodes and radius local insert setting.|
|WIANA RADIUS Realm 1||Specify the primary RADIUS relam you may have setup in WIANA if you are using it for authentication|
|WIANA RADIUS Realm 2||Specify the secondary RADIUS relam you may have setup in WIANA if you are using it for authentication|
|Automatic Authentication List||You can adjust the users that will not require authentication on the network.|
